In a bit of unfortunate news, North American Gran Turismo 5 fans will have to wait just a bit longer to get their hands on the DLC that was detailed last week.

Via an announcement on Sony Computer Entertainment America’s Twitter account, we learned that we’d have to wait until October 25th before we can purchase the new cars and tracks. While no further details were given, Sony promised that the DLC would come with a “special bonus” to make up for the inconvenience.

The DLC is already released in Asian regions, and the European release was only delayed by a couple of hours.

I can’t think of a reason for the delay, as even GT producer Kazunori Yamauchi was surprised. I guess all we can do is sit tight.
