Ahead of its release next month, Rockstar Games has released the exciting launch trailer for GTA 6. The trailer arrives almost exactly a month before the highly anticipated open-world game’s release. The upcoming title follows two playable protagonists, Jason and Lucia, pulled into a criminal conspiracy in Vice City.
The GTA 6 launch trailer features new music from electronic duo Justice, who composed the score for the game. According to its synopsis, GTA 6’s story kicks off as an “easy score goes wrong,” following which the lead couple finds themselves in the middle of a criminal conspiracy taking them across the state of Leonida.

What is happening in the GTA 6 trailer?
The GTA 6 launch trailer begins with narration from Jason, revealing that he was dishonorably discharged from the army. As Jason gets a call from Lucia, a montage shows the various vistas and residents of Vice City. Jason is also shown in action wearing military gear, and the footage makes it clear that he and Lucia are a couple. The montage continues showing the couple getting in trouble with law enforcement, robbing banks, and wreaking havoc across Leonida.
The trailer is set to “Flower in a Hurricane” from Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The song will also be included on the official GTA 6 album.
Rockstar Games also revealed the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition in recent weeks, which surprisingly doesn’t include the actual game. Those interested in the game can also buy collectible merchandise, along with GTA-branded apparel ahead of the release.
The upcoming game is arriving over 13 years after GTA 5, bringing new features such as podcasts during exploration. As for its gameplay, Rockstar has confirmed it will feature mini-games like jet skiing, mini golf, and more.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
