Killzone 3D won’t be a game changer

Michael Pachter is at it again with his assumptions and predictions about the industry. Despite having to eat crow several times, the analyst just can’t refuse the spotlight and his latest target is Sony’s exclusive title Killzone 3 and the implementation of 3D gaming.

While most gamers understand that 3D gaming is going to take time to progress, Pachter states such as though the claim is unheard of.

“I don’t think that 3D support is a huge game changer, as I don’t think that a significant portion of the population will have 3D displays any time soon,” Pachter said.

This statement is best responded with a “duh,” but then again, a significant portion of gamers still don’t have HDTVs either. It hasn’t prevented HD gaming from being the best thing going.

    what a clown.
how many times does his predictions have to fail until he gives up?

must kill patcher… must kill patcher…

  3. I doubt Killzone in 3D will be a game-changer. Immersion is about story and characters, not visuals.

  4. Well, I’m really thinking about gettiing a 3d tv just for this game. I guess the most hardcore gamers will have that one game that’ll make them upgrade to 3d (Gran Turismo 5, Resistance 3, Killzone 3?).

When I bought my ps3 I almost inmmediately bought an hdtv.

Patcher is a fool, seriously he should quit already. This is just a crappy prediction that any 10 year old can make. OF COURSE 3D wont be a GAME CHANGER.

  6. A guy with Pachter’s IQ should have a low voice too.

idk…i think by the time this game comes out i will probably have a small 3d monitor…i already play on a 23 in 1080p monitor at this moment in my room and it wasn’t expensive at all a 3d one the same size is about 100 dollars more, so i will deffinatly be looking forward to 3D
