Kojima promises Zone of Enders 3

Hideo Kojima recently posted on his official blog promising that he does plan on developing Zone of Enders 3. Kojima, however, didn’t discuss a time frame for the project, but did give insight as to why the series has not continued as planned and credited poor sales of ZOE2 has one of the prime reasons.

“I cannot make a promise about time. However, I can promise a sequel. “At that time, if I hadn’t made a mistake with the release date, [Zone of the Enders] might have ended up a major Kojima Productions title to follow MGS, still seeing development as a series,”admits Kojima.

Considering the response from our last article discussing this topic, we’re sure a lot of you are very excited to see a sequel to this franchise. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.

  1. Having not been lucky enough to find the first two, I haven’t played them. Heard good things though so I hope he does develop this game. Will have to keep a close look out for the others until its release.

  2. THats really great to hear. Especially since he promised. I think this series can really get back on track and receive the attention it deserves. THere arent too many good mech games out there I dont think- but ZOE is definitely the kinda game that can stand up there with the action gameplay like GOW, bayonetta and devil may cry

He should try and make another Snatcher game too.
