PS5 players can finally get their hands on a fan-favorite open world sandbox game via the PlayStation Store. After a lengthy wait, BeamNG Drive is available as a console exclusive on PS5. The game first launched on PC in 2015.
Hugely popular open world game BeamNG Drive costs $24.99 on the PlayStation Store
BeamNG Drive is available for $24.99 on the PlayStation Store. The game is PS5 Pro enhanced, and PS Plus Premium members can cloud stream the title on both the PS5 and PS Portal.
“BeamNG Drive is an incredibly realistic driving game with near-limitless possibilities,” an official description reads. “Our soft-body physics engine simulates every component of a vehicle in real time, resulting in true-to-life behavior. With years of meticulous design, intensive research and experience, the simulation authentically recreates the excitement of real world driving.”
Game modes include:
- Free Roam
- Time Trials
- Scenarios: BeamNG Drive offers loads of scenarios for every type of driving enthusiast out there. You can complete a truck delivery request as fast and efficiently as possible, or outrun police cruisers in a hot pursuit.
BeamNG Drive is still in early access. It’s unclear when the game will fully launch.
An Xbox release has not been announced.
