Max Payne 3 must be coming along very nicely, because Rockstar Games have announced a special edition of the game. Unlike other collector-baiting packages, though, Rockstar seems hell-bent on making this a truly limited release — preorders for the Max Payne 3 Special Edition will only be available through January 15th, 2012. Impressive.

The Special Edition will run for a cool $99.99/£99.99/€109.99, and Rockstar detailed its contents on their website:

• 10” tall Collectible Max Payne Statue
• Series of game-inspired Original Still-Life Art Prints
• Copper and brass-plated iron, bullet-shaped Bullet Keychain featuring a screw-off back
• Classic Multiplayer Character Pack
• Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack
• Max Payne 3 Official Soundtrack
