Following a slew of new Uncharted 3 details being released, Naughty Dog has hinted at more Uncharted titles.
Within the latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, a Naughty Dog employee working on the game delivered a strong hint that PlayStation owners can indeed look forward to more installments in the IP.
The Uncharted franchise was never conceived as a trilogy.
Whilst Naughty Dog has said that the Uncharted franchise can capitalize on its massive fan base by expanding outside of games, such as the already-in-production movie as well as books, etc, they’ve never been this vague as to hinting at more Uncharted games.
One thing’s for sure, though; we’ll welcome it with open arms.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, meanwhile, is to release on November 1st, 2011.
I didn’t expect Uncharted to be a trilogy. Each game has its own self-contained story, so it’s not like it ever NEEDS to end.
