PS5 players are reminded that we can play a highly anticipated August 2026 console exclusive action game for free this weekend. Developed by Arc System Works and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls global open beta is live today through Sunday, July 26.

All PS5 and PC players can partake in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls beta. A PlayStation account is required for PC players.

The beta offers 16 playable characters, including Green Goblin. Players can also access part of the Amazing Guardians Episode, which offers a glimpse of the game’s story. We’ll see the encounters with Promoter and Champion, and find out why Spider-Man formed his team.

“The story is presented through immersive motion comics featuring artwork from a renowned comic artist, bringing the Marvel Universe to life in a unique and engaging format,” says Arc System Works. “After experiencing the story, you’ll head straight into battle. Once you’ve completed Startup Battle and learned the basics, be sure to check out Episode Mode as well.”

Finally, the beta includes Startup Battle and Training Mode for those who want to learn and play at their own pace.
