PS5 RPG Phantom Blade Zero demo

PS5 players should be able to play a highly anticipated 2026 console-exclusive RPG for free soon, per a PS Store leak. Before Sony announced a dedicated Phantom Blade Zero PlayStation State of Play event, fans discovered a now-scrubbed demo listing for the game, indicating that an announcement is coming soon.

PS Store blooper reveals unannounced demo for PS5 RPG Phantom Blade Zero

A screenshot of the demo listing can be found on Reddit. No further information is available at this time. However, based on the screenshot, we can tell that Phantom Blade Zero’s demo will be free for all, as PS Plus Premium game trials are listed differently.

As for when we can expect the announcement, S-Game teased something for today, which turned out to be a Fortnite collaboration. It makes sense for the demo to be shadow dropped during or after next week’s State of Play.

“The Phantom Blade Zero gameplay deep dive State of Play will introduce never-before-seen characters central to our story while showing just how expressive players can be with their individual builds. We’re looking forward to finally sharing more of what we’ve been working on,” Sony wrote.

We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
