PlayStation Portal Gets Highly Demanded Streaming Library Update
PS Portal update

PS Portal users will be pleased to note that Sony has rolled out a minor but important update to the handheld’s direct cloud streaming library. Cloud streaming exited beta in November 2025, but those who don’t want to remote play via a PS5 still sometimes have to wait for their purchased game(s) to become streamable. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced was one such title until now.

PS Portal library update finally lets users cloud stream Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced directly

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced surpassed everyone’s expectations, including Ubisoft’s own sales projections. Over the last week, the remake has been the most talked-about game across social media and gaming forums, so it’s no surprise that PS Portal users were a bit upset that it couldn’t be streamed without a PS5 at launch.

Well, that’s changed now. If you don’t own a PS5 or don’t want to use a console, head over to the PS Store and purchase Black Flag Resynced. Once it’s in your library, you can play it on the handheld without further ado.

Do note that a PS Plus Premium subscription is required for direct cloud streaming.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced costs $59.99. Unfortunately, the PS Store currently isn’t offering any deals on the game.
