Greetings Students,
Playstation University is in need of new Professors! Alright, I am just playing along with the whole university thing, but we actually are looking for writers and reporters.
This is a great opportunity to combine your enthusiasm about gaming with writing. It could be the start of a career in video game journalism for you!
In particular, we are seeking to fill the following positions:
- PlaystationUniversity.com News Coordinator – You will pull interesting news related to Sony Playstation news from other sources to provide convenience to visitors and our existing readers.
- PlaystationUniversity.com Game Reviewer – You play games, You complete games, now its time to write about them. You will provide your impressions about what makes a game good, bad, or indifferent. You are to strike a balance between personal opinion and objectivity and make linkages to other games to demonstrate your depth. Writing skills are essential.
- PlaystationUniversity.com Editorialist – You have an opinion about games, the games industry, Sony, and the Playstation platform. This is your opportunity to share your view with thousands! Your articles will be insightful and factual, but your personal spin on events will be the sizzle that sells. Writing skills are essential.
- PlaystationUniversity.com Investigative Reporter – You enjoy talking with developers, requesting interviews, trying to get scoops about new games and products and collecting all of this information into an article to be shared with the PSUni campus.
Those interested can apply at jobs@playstationuniversity.com. You are welcome to apply for as many positions that interest you. All positions have the potential to become paid part time positions after a brief internship.
Thanks,
The Chancellor

Just a Question, I’m in Canada, any chance this is still available for me?
@Dementor & DK – Absolutely. We are border blind just like the internet. Please send us your resumes and writing samples.
I have the same question. Do you have any interest in international reporting? I’m American but I live in Tokyo.
I would but I can’t clink on the link and when I type it in it just takes me back here, I really wanna do this and I feel I’d be good at it cause I’ve got something published already, but I’m only 16 so I don’t know if I’m still able to do it
If your trying to click the “yellow” link, you can’t because it’s not a link. It’s an email address, which is where you would want to send in your application/resume. 😉
Why thank you dragonx! I fill silly for thinking that was a link aha
i would hawe lots of fun rewiewing the games, ulike ign, gt,… people like me actualy played their games 100%
to bad my writing skills suck…
I’m guessing we’ll have to buy the games ourselves if we want to do the game review job right? 😛 Will we be expected to review only PS3 games or PSN and PSP games as well?
At the present time, we welcome reviews of games you currently own. PSN and PSP game reviews are welcome as well!
Hey! I’m very interested in one or more of these positions, I was wondering what I needed to email to be able to apply for them? A fully fledged review or an example?
