A PlayStation 5 Harry Potter game has slashed its price just two months ahead of HBO’s series premiere. The LEGO Harry Potter Collection, which sits at 4.38/5 on the PlayStation Store based on over 14,000 reviews, is now available at an 85% discount. The game, initially retailing at $39.99, is now available to purchase for $5.99. The offer is valid until October 22, 2026.

The game contains all 7 years of Harry Potter’s adventures at Hogwarts, enhanced with updated graphics for the PlayStation 5. The description of the game reads, “This compilation unites the creative prowess of LEGO and the expansive world of Harry Potter, with an exciting journey full of spell-casting, potion-making, puzzle-solving, lessons, dueling, and much more for players of all ages to enjoy.”

What to expect from LEGO Harry Potter Collection on PS5

Developed by Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and The LEGO Group, LEGO Harry Potter Collection’s PS5 version comes with a slew of enhancements beyond its visual updates. The game comes with improved performance and haptic feedback on the DualSense controller. Since it runs on the PlayStation 5, it also boasts shorter load times. Across the entire collection, players will have about 40 hours of gameplay to dig into.

LEGO games make zany tweaks to the story that they are adapting for comedic purposes. While the collection follows plot points present in the movies, some changes are made for humor and gags to make sense in the story. This might include characters appearing before they actually did in canon, or even story beats occurring out of sequence. The game also does away with some of the darker aspects of the story, given that the collection’s ESRB rating is E.

This collection has also recently launched on the Nintendo Switch 2. The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is available at the Nintendo eShop for $49.99.
