Demos for both Screamer and Gurei are out now on the PS Store in all regions.
Released in March 2026, Screamer is the latest entry in the 31-year-old racing series, and the first new entry in the franchise since 2000. It’s a gorgeous current-gen reboot of the original 1995 game.
The demo gives players access to the early events of Screamer’s Tournament. Save data cannot be transferred to the full game, and you’ll only have access to a limited number of modes, characters, and tracks.
Next up is Gurei. Developed by Lobo Sagaz Studio, the action game draws inspiration from Japanese samurai films. Gurei features hand-drawn art.
“Rei, the main character, is a human spirit bound with the challenging duty of defeating mystical entities of nature, the Kami, to obtain their power,” an official overview reads.
Gurei’s demo listing doesn’t mention if progress will carry over to the full game when it launches on July 23, 2026.
