Several internal Sony studios have begun work on game concepts for the next PlayStation console, according to a new report.
Citing a source “connected to the matter”, Develop notes that various game projects are in production – although at very early stages – for the PlayStation 4.
The source would not reveal which of Sony’s sixteen internal studios are working on concepts.
It wouldn’t come as a shock to many, with the PlayStation 3 moving into its fifth year next month. Then again, Sony has projected its ten-year plan for the console since its announcement back in 2005 and will no doubt look to continue that with software releases over the next few years.
