For the longest time, the PSP fell behind the PS3 and many felt it was stuck in the last generation. With the implementation of the PlayStation Store, ‘minis’, and many other things for the PSP, the small handheld device began to pick up momentum again.
A highly popular PSP title is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, which has plenty of extra content for hours of play. Although the game isn’t expensive, imagine the surprise when someone turned on their PSP to find another game nestled beneath Vice City Stories; the PlayStation 2 “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City”.
According to sources, the game wouldn’t download on the PSP 3000, but worked normally for the PSPgo. It’s clear from the display of the game alone that wasn’t intended to show up there; given the missing icon, the fact that the download is free, and how the game boots up as ‘stories’.
This could very well be a mess up on Sony’s part, but it’s rather peculiar. In the eyes of the hopeful gamer, this might be Sony’s failure to hide a big secret: that PS2 games are coming to PSN.

They wouldn’t do that.. It would damage their HD remake games 😛
