Upcoming racer, Shift 2 Unleashed, is one of the many reasons I felt that March was in the lead as the best month for gaming this ye Unfortunately, that’s just not the case anymore as Shift 2 has been delayed and pushed out of March altogether. Does this still mean March is a golden month of gaming? Probably not, but at least it’s still a strong one.

Sadly, the title has been delayed a full week which ultimately pushed back one of its release dates into April — specifically in the UK. This slight change means that we may have to go back to the drawing board to find a better month than this one, which is completely plausible now.

However, on the other side of the spectrum, Shift 2 Unleashed is the first video game franchise to nab the licensing for Pagani’s upcoming million dollar car, the Pagani Huayra. While there is no official retail pricing of this car in the real world, most financial experts are expecting a price tag in excess of one million dollars.

Oh — and if you’re wondering how majestic this bad boy is going to look in Shift 2, don’t. Apparently it looks utterly amazing.

“For the past seven years, the designing of the Huayra has been a labour of love and I’m ecstatic to be working with the entire Need for Speed team to help share our creation with the world,” said Horacio Pagani, the Gepetto of cars.

“I’m amazed by how accurately they have been able to capture the look and, most importantly, the feel of the Huayra. Shift 2 Unleashed will give enthusiasts all over the world the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Huayra.”

I can’t wait to check this vehicle out in Shift 2. It’s going to be ridiculous racing against inferior cars in the Huayra as it should leave most vehicles in its dust.
