While it’s easy to get caught in the whirlwind of hype surround releases such as Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, and Modern Warfare 3 (sensing a pattern here), Sega have politely reminded us of the existence of Sonic Generations and the fact that it releases this week. It’s a celebration of all things Sonic, mixing levels that feel like the blue blur’s 16-bit glory days with those of his 3D adventures.

It’s been pretty well-received so far, so hopefully it doesn’t get buried too deep under all of the blockbuster releases. The game releases tomorrow in North America, and November 4th across Europe. Check out the trailer below:
