Sony has strong showing in October NPDs

Sony continues its strong spike in sales through the month of October according to the recently released NPD numbers. After the PlayStation Slim released in September, Sony showed promising sales figures, toppling the 360 by a wide margin. This was met by Microsoft also lowering the price of its Elite console by $100, but this wasn’t enough as the PlayStation 3 has continued to outsell its main competitor significantly. Unsurprisingly, Uncharted 2 had a very strong month of sales as well, topping the month.

  1. you’d think that by now just about everybody has a Wii by now with how it’s selling.(I don’t have one don’t want one.)

  2. looks like nintendo is doing a good job earning the casuals markets money
their motion control game cube is doing great

  3. And this is just a 1/3 of the PS3’s market, and 2/3 of the 360’s market
