The Game Developer Conference is just around the corner and Gamasutra.com has revealed the award nominations for the conference as usual. Unsurprisingly, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves leads the way with seven nominations including yet another Game of the Year nod.

However, Sony continues to push the belief that 2009 was its year as the console champ in games as the platform has roughly 85% of the games being nominated on its platform. That number is more than any other console company by a significant margin.

Other notable nominations include Flower (5), Assassin’s Creed II (4), and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has several as well.
