Earlier this morning, the demo for Tiger Woods ’12: The Masters went live for Xbox 360 owners (get the download pending here). As per usual, PlayStation 3 owners can expect the demo to pop up when the PlayStation Store updates later on in the evening — usually between 5 PM and 7 PM CST.

The demo contains the ability to play five holes at one of the newest courses — TPC San Antonio Oaks. By completing this portion of the demo, users are given the option to skip the Amateur tour portion of the “Road to the Masters” game mode. Furthermore, a Play Now option is available that allows you to check out and play the 18th hole at Augusta National as Tiger Woods.

Much like last year, if you share the demo with friends on your PSN or XBL friends list, you can earn extra experience points towards your created golfer. This obviously creates a nice jump on the competition. Swing on.
