On December 20th, news leaked out that developers were busy creating a Tomb Raider Trilogy in HD for re-release. The trilogy pack included remastered HD versions of Anniversary and Legend as well as the final chapter in the trilogy Underworld. At the time, it wasn’t known whether or not this collection would be released industry wide or if they carried an exclusive tag and today it was revealed that they are indeed exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
Furthermore, the Official PlayStation Blog has revealed the cover art for the game and a release date. You can expect to pick up this trio of Lara Croft adventures on March 22nd, 2011 for the standard collection price of $39.99. Despite a lot of people being excited for the recent information that Croft is in a reboot, we highly suggest you check out these three titles as well. It’ll help you get in the Tomb Raider set of mind and give you a good look at Croft in action.

While I’m happy with this I must wonder. Why aren’t we getting the PS1 games in a bundle? do they not do PS1 HD remasters?
This might be the loosest use of the phrases “HD remaster” and “exclusive” I’ve ever seen, lol.
Looking good . . . I’m talking about Lara, of course.
Sweet. I think I might pick this up if I have spare time outside of MVC3 in March so I can see what the game was like before the remake hits.
