Ubisoft has just tweeted the URL to its YouTube channel where you can check out the newest trailer to its upcoming title, Pure Football. Apparently, this footy game is expected to release in May 2010 and is actually a real game.

The premise of the game is based around playing 5-on-5 footy matches against real world teams outside of the rules and pitches you’re used to playing on. In my opinion, this is pretty much a replica of FIFA Street, but what do I know?

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

  2. What makes this different from any other Football game ?

    Oh it’s five a side ? pff

  3. Looks pretty, but I doubt it’ll be anything special.

  4. FIFA and PES have the monopoly of the Soccer business, honestly.

  5. Pure Football but why? is FIFA canceled, speaking of sports game when will we have F1 game? could this be mystery title to be announced at GTTV?

“In my opinion, this is pretty much a replica of FIFA Street”

Yup agreed, doesn’t look good of a game either, Probably not even worth a rent =/

  9. Holy shit, thats a great trailer… but will it top the others??

  10. this is for sure ganna be better than that gay fifa street 3 lol, comon wtf fifa street with enerexic players thats pisses me off . >:(

  11. The title “Pure Football” implies a sim, but maybe that’s just me. Either way, I don’t get a great feeling about this game after watching that trailer.

  12. This is soccer, not football ._.

  13. fifa all they way

  14. i dont like the sound of 5v5. Would rather buy fifa with all the updated teams. And for you americans, its football not soccer! Football in the UK was around a lot longer before your version of football and they barely use there feet in your game.

  15. Should be called Pure Futbol

  16. actually now that i look at it again….this reminds me of NFL: The League (to an extent)

but yes….outside of america soccer is indeed called futbol -_-

  17. This is SOCCER, why are they calling it Pure Football?

  18. because just about only the US calls it Soccer
