A unique 2023 PS5 adventure game has been delisted from the PS Store. This prevents PS5 owners from purchasing the game, but anyone who owns it already can still play it.

What game has been delisted from the PS Store?

Cookie Cutter, the stylish 2D Metroidvania that released in 2023, has seemingly been removed from the PS Store. The news first popped up on the PSN Profiles forums. While it’s unclear exactly why the game was delisted, news from last year seemed to suggest that developer Subcult Joint was having issues with publisher Rogue Games over the pricing of the game.

An 2025 article from Delisted Games noted that Subcult Joint was unhappy with Rogue Games’ decision to put the game on sale for upwards of 90% off, and even took to social media to ask fans not to buy the game at this point. In a deleted reply to a fan on X, the developer called the decision to drop the price of the game so steeply just a year after its release “moronic,” and hinted at potential legal action.

Currently, it’s unknown what came of that. It seems like Subcult did get the rights to the game back, though, as the Steam page for the game lists the company as both developer and publisher. The game is currently available for sale on Steam as well, at a price of $19.99.
