A chaotic role-playing party game releases a PS5 demo today. The game will be released later this year; however, gamers can access its demo mode on the PlayStation 5 and other modern consoles.

The Prinny Party: Going Overboard! can be played in a new sweet and spicy demo mode, which is available on the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Switch 1. The demo is also available for PC gamers through Steam.

Moreover, the demo game has an exclusive Super-Spicy mode, where gamers must tackle a challenging take on Prinny Party. Players must clear the demo mode using Prinny and a limited set of tools. The game is developed by Nippon Ichi Software and is set to launch on consoles and PC on November 11, 2026.

Prinny Party: Going Overboard! is a 4-player game. The game’s official description reads, “You and your friends will do whatever it takes to defeat the Supreme Overboard and his Protago-Knights. In practice, it’s quite simple: move around the board, earn experience, acquire more powerful equipment, and turn in quests to stay ahead of the curve. Then, when a boss spawns, work together to take him down.”

However, the gameplay also requires gamers to fight other players, as points are awarded only to those who bring the boss back to spawn. Gamers get to choose from characters like Warrior, Archer, or Ninja, apart from Prinny. The game includes multiple features that let players pick up and throw their friends or enemies to win.

Moreover, gamers can build and upgrade facilities such as hospitals and armories, allowing other players to shop as well. Lastly, the game includes a GameShare feature. This allows gamers who own the game to play it with friends who do not own a copy.

The game can be added to the wishlist on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and on Steam for PC gamers ahead of its release.
