Indigo Prophecy 2016 PS4 game will be delisted

A heads-up for our readers: the 2016 PS4 port of a fan-favorite PS2 action-adventure game is set to be delisted from the PS Store soon. Yesterday, Sony announced that Quantic Dream’s Indigo Prophecy will join PS Plus Premium as an emulated PS2 classic. As the incoming PS5/PS4 edition is released, the previous PS4 port will be removed from sale.

Indigo Prophecy’s 2016 PS4 version will delisted and replaced by upcoming PS5 & PS4 port

Sony has followed a similar pattern in the past. As the company adds newer, more refined ports of classic games to the PS Store, it removes previous versions.

The new version of Indigo Prophecy will be added to PS Plus Premium on Tuesday, July 21. On the same date, the game will be available for stand-alone purchase on the PS Store. We’re not sure whether the incoming version will have different trophies, but it should be an improvement over the current version.

Indigo Prophecy is currently $14.99 on the PS Store. We’re expecting the incoming version to be cheaper.

Those who already own the game on the PS4 should be able to download the native PS5 version at no additional cost, as has been the case in the past.
