The 2026 PS5 release of the iconic FPS game just got a major discount on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation owners can grab the remastered military shooter at a 50% discount. However, the offer is only available for a limited period.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is now available for $19.99 on the official digital storefront. The limited-time deal closes on September 24, 2026. Once the offer ends, the game will return to its regular price of $39.99.

Additionally, a Season Pass bundle is also available at $9.89 after a 67% discount. It includes four major DLC expansions, additional multiplayer and zombie-mode maps, and bonus content.

COD: Black Ops was launched for PS4 and PS5 on July 9, 2026, developed by Iron Galaxy Studios. This marks the game’s first-ever release on PlayStation platforms, more than a decade after its original 2010 debut.

What players get with Call of Duty: Black Ops on PlayStation

Newly launched for modern PS consoles, Call of Duty: Black Ops offers its historic single-player campaign and the original multiplayer mode. In addition, the game includes the legendary cooperative Zombies survival mode.

Set during the 1960s Cold War, the main campaign follows a CIA operative, Alex Mason. He tries to recover lost memories that could help locate a numbers station linked to Soviet sleeper agents. The story takes players across several locations, including Cuba, the Soviet Union, the United States, South Vietnam, Hong Kong, Canada, and Laos. Players have access to various weapons and equipment while progressing through the story.

Multiplayer provides the competitive side of the game, while Zombies offers a separate mode focused on players surviving the undead.

While this newly released game is not a complete remaster, it runs at a native 1080p at 60 FPS on both PS4 and PS5.

Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops was released on November 9, 2010. As of writing, it holds a 4.59 rating on the PS Store.
