A new Italian neo-giallo survival horror game has hit the PlayStation Store. Players can purchase the single-player title on the PlayStation 5 and other modern consoles days before Halloween. It offers a terrifying journey filled with dangerous enemies and disturbing revelations.
Developed by Stormind Games, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is available for PS5 starting today. Gamers can purchase the Standard Edition for $29.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $39.99. The game is also available on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.
Red Nun’s Legacy serves as the final installment of the Remothered trilogy. The franchise began with Remothered: Tormented Fathers in 2018, followed by Remothered: Broken Porcelain in 2020.
What to expect from Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy’s terrifying horror experience?
The latest installment in the Remothered franchise is designed for fans of classic third-person survival horror. Red Nun’s Legacy follows Susan, a mother who travels to an isolated residence after a mysterious recording gives her hope that her missing daughter might still be alive, a year after six young girls disappeared in Sicily.
Players must first learn to survive the horrific stalkers and murderous enemies by hiding, evading, and sometimes fighting back in critical moments. Gamers can also use retrocognition, mirror abilities, and moth manipulation to help them read forgotten memories, reveal hidden paths, and twist the environment as needed.
To make it through to the end, players must investigate every room, find clues, solve puzzles, and eventually access areas that lead to the final revelation. Lastly, players can explore the forgotten story of the Sicilian convent, a place of burned faith, buried guilt, and forbidden rituals, where the myth of the Red Nun began.
