Fans of a magical life simulation game have received a promising update, with its release date now officially confirmed. The announcement also came with a new trailer offering a glimpse into the game’s magical world ahead of its launch on PlayStation 5.

Developed by Chucklefish and Robotality, the magical life simulation game Witchbrook is set to launch on January 28, 2027, for PlayStation 5. It will also be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. PC players can purchase the game through Steam and the Microsoft Store on release day.

The game’s official description reads, “Discover magic and mystery in Witchbrook! Start your life as the newest resident witch in the bustling seaside town of Mossport. Make friends, find love, and discover a world filled with wonder and charm on the road to graduation and beyond!”

What to expect from Witchbrook on PS5?

Witchbrook lets players start a new life as a witch-in-training in Mossport, a lively seaside town brimming with magic and mystery. Players will attend Witchbrook College, take classes, complete assignments, and study subjects such as Alchemy, Astrology, Tarot, and Rituals. As they progress, they can prepare for exams, unlock new spells, and work toward graduation.

Outside the classroom, players can explore the town, build friendships, and find romance among its intriguing cast of characters. They can also start their own witch business, using their magical abilities to provide services to the local community.

Other activities include joining clubs, attending seasonal events, birdwatching, catching bugs, and fishing, giving players plenty of ways to spend their free time.

The game also comes with customization options, letting players renovate their woodland cottage, transform their surrounding garden, and personalize their appearance with different clothing, hairstyles, and accessories.

Those who prefer playing with friends can take advantage of online co-op, which supports up to four players. Additionally, Witchbrook can be played in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
