A narrative-driven episodic PlayStation 3 game has arrived on PlayStation 5. Developed by Telltale Games, the dark-noir title was first launched on October 11, 2013. Over a decade later, fans can visit the story again in a remastered form with enhanced features.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is now available on the PlayStation Store. PS5 users can get the game for $24.99. PlayStation Plus users can get a 20% discount, bringing the price down to $19.99. The remastered title is also available on other modern consoles like the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via Steam and Epic Games.
The original game’s story was released episodically, with its five chapters released between October 2013 and July 2014. Meanwhile, a sequel, titled The Wolf Among Us 2, is scheduled to launch in 2027. The remastered version of the acclaimed graphic adventure brings the original story to a new generation of players.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered includes all five episodes of the original graphic adventure game with improved lighting, upgraded animations, refined environments, and a modernized presentation. That said, one of the major additions to the new version is the Noir mode. Through this mode, players can experience the entire story in a black-and-white presentation inspired by classic detective movies. The feature emphasizes the game’s dark-noir mystery atmosphere, transforming its crime scenes, interrogations, and environments into a monochrome experience.
The remastered version also includes bonus content like developer commentary, interviews, concept art, and restored content, providing fans with insights into the game’s development.
The story follows Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community where characters from myths and fairy tales live among humans. Players take on the role of Bigby as he investigates a series of brutal murders and uncovers a conspiracy threatening the community. The investigation involves examining crime scenes, questioning suspects, and making choices that influence relationships and how other characters perceive him.
