Assassin’s Creed 3 to be shown at E3?

Dr. Vidic from the Assassin’s Creed titles has left an ominous message on the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page that may hint towards an E3 reveal. Vidic is an evil character within the game’s and his message on the popular networking site supports that nature.

Vidic’s message is cryptic at best and we’ve included it below.

“It is the time of our rising. A new age enters and a great battle looms. Templar destiny is at hand and waiting for you. – Dr. Vidic”

After the success of the first two iterations in the series, a third title was announced earlier this year. Not much is known about it, but it has been revealed that the game will take place in Rome and feature multiplayer content. It is also believed that it will continue Ezio’s story from Assassin’s Creed II.

If it’s shown at E3 in June, there is a good chance it may make its way to retail shelves this Holiday season. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if that turned out to be true.

  1. I never got into AC. The first was meh, and I haven’t played enough of the second to pass judgment on it.

  2. AC1 was pretty lame imo, I haven’t tried the 2nd one yet really have no desire to. So I am sure the 3rd one will be a pass too.

The first game was repetitive. The second game was absolutely brilliant.

@nd game is pretty good, I have it but now want to sell it because you play it once and its pretty much sits on the shelf. I feel that they are announcing this game waayyy to early. Its leaving me to think that there will be no improvements.

Omg sorry I meant “second” I wrote “@nd” but meant “2nd”

  6. Everything about this series screams mediocrity.

Its not called Assasins Creed, and it has online. That is what they’ve said in an old IGN’sdailyfix. Coming sometime in 2011

  8. oh wow, im surprised that all but one person who’s commented dislike the series!

yeah, i was totally stoked for AC til i played it……i literally got bored after 30 min…and i killed like 3 or 4 templars before never playing it again…..Then i made my second mistake by giving AC: Bloodlines a chance….also trash lol

    imo AC is nothing special

I agree with all of you in that that the first AC was repetitive but personally the 2nd game was much better and totally different. I liked it a lot 🙂
