The UK software sales charts for this past week has been released and to no surprise EA’s FIFA World Cup title has taken the top spot. It wasn’t difficult to see that a football title revolving around the biggest event the sport has to offer would sell as well as it did, but there are still a few surprises left on the chart itself. For instance, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is still selling strong when I’d expect everyone would have already bought it by now.
Sony also has something to be proud of as they hold the only exclusive title on the chart at #10 with the God of War Collection. Check out the full chart below.
I know the UK love their football but surprised it made number one. i dont think it will stay there for long but may see an increase in sales the closer we get to the world cup.
I’ll have to try the demo to see if it’s any good.
