DC Universe Fails to Topple UK Chart

Since its release last week, there has been a lot of speculation and rumors flying around that DC Universe Online had been selling out in stores world wide. This came as a surprise considering how much of a niche title a super hero MMO truly is — especially when you take into account City of Heroes already exists.

Today, the UK sales charts released as always and as expected, it was either going to be FIFA 11 at the top of the list or Call of Duty: Black Ops. This week, Black Ops takes the number one spot once more and continues its domination over the United Kingdom.

DC Universe did make an appearance though debuting at #10 on the chart. Check out the full Top 10 below.

1. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Treyarch, Activision)
2. FIFA 11 (EA Sports, EA)
3. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Ubisoft)

The sell out was because of stock shortages… They didn’t expect such an uptake I’m guessing 😛

  2. This one was on my list until I saw the subscription fees. Pass.
