Our Australian readers (there’s a few of em!) should be happy to hear that Capcom’s upcoming zombie annihilator Dead Rising 2 will be released in Australia without editing and without the fear of being banned. Considering the strict policies the country has shown in the past in regards to titles like DR2, this is pretty big news for our gaming friends way across the pond.

As an example, Left 4 Dead 2 didn’t make it through the classification process of the Office of Film and Literature Classification, thus there was concern about Dead Rising 2 as well. However, the game did receive an MA15+ rating and will be released without edit down under.

Australians can expect to get their hands on the title come the end of September.
