Surprise! I’m sure that’s the emotion you’re experiencing when finding out that Electronic Arts is indeed publishing Portal 2 on consoles just like they have with earlier Valve releases. Announced today, the EA Partners group has announced that it has picked up the publishing rights of Valve’s upcoming sequel, Portal 2 set for release on April 21st.
While many speculated that Valve was shopping the title around to other publishers in order to find the best deal possible, it always felt like the obvious choice was returning to the EA Partners program to get the game to retail shelves. Now that that is finally a reality, we can focus on waiting for the game to launch instead of trying to guess who was going to launch it.
As expected, Steam is likely to be the publisher of Portal 2 on PCs.
is publishing a game on ewery platform including mac a sing that valve wants eweryone to enjoy their game or a sing that they just want to make as much money as posible?
I’m gonna go with “all of the above”.
