Today, Square Enix Europe has officially announced that they plan to bring Front Mission 3 to the PlayStation Network. While this has only been announced in Europe thus far, we’d imagine this will be released in North America as well. SE hopes that with the release of Front Mission 3, it will help bring awareness and anticipation to its upcoming project, Front Mission Evolved for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Front Mission 3 was originally released way back in the day on the PlayStation and contained well over 100 hours of actual gameplay. It’s definitely one of those cult classics that many missed out on the first time around. Thankfully, this gives you the opportunity to check it out before you die.

There has yet to be a release date or price for the downloadable title, but when something is revealed, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on it.
