Sony revealed early last month that Gran Turismo 5 would be receiving the Collector’s Edition treatment featuring a die-cast miniature vehicle and some bonus extras. However, according to a recent comment made by a Sony representative in an interview with Indian Video Gamer, Gran Turismo 5’s Collector’s Edition isn’t shipping alone as the sole “special package.”
Atindriya Bose, country manager for Sony Computer Entertainment India, has stated that Gran Turismo 5 will feature two Collector’s Editions. The first being the one already revealed and the second being more of a signature edition that goes beyond just the scope of gaming.
“Yes. For GT5, there are two collector’s editions. One is the game plus some added content and collectibles, which (has already been announced), while the other is in a really big package with a lot of paraphernalia that goes beyond the game. It’s all car-related, but I’m unaware of the exact contents.”
What do you guys think Polyphony Digital is going to release in ridiculous fashion to go alongside the game?
Sparco gloves? Arai helmet? Logitech Driving Force GT? Vision Racer vr3? That’ll be the best collectors edition in history.
