Two ‘traditions,’ two countries – America and Britain. Two firsts for one Japanese racing game. NASCAR and Top Gear are coming together as one in Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 5.

Oh yes, the Top Gear test track will be making its way into Gran Turismo 5 – Jeremy Clarkson must be a very happy man. And then there’s NASCAR – an American ‘sport’ that has inspired series creator Kazunori Yamauchi. The drama and the excitement of NASCAR has made its way onto the Top Gear test track.It’s a highly unlikely occurance that’s only possible in video games.
