Guardians of Middle Earth released on the PlayStation Network today. The game is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena-style game (MOBA) similar to games like Defense of the Ancients (DotA) and League of Legends (LoL.) Set in Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings lore, you choose a guardian to take into battle and fight against and with other players with up to 10-players in matches at once in five versus five competitive multiplayer battles. Check out the launch trailer down below.
There are over 20 different characters to choose from and this game marks the debut of the MOBA genre on consoles and can be downloaded from the PSN for $14.99 as well as the Season Pass for an addition $14.99 which will included new characters, map skins and a brand new gameplay mode.
Which brings us to the point of this article: We currently have a contest running on our Facebook page where we will be giving away one free copy of the game on PSN (including the Season Pass.) Hello David, after playing the trial of this awesome game, and comparing the different guardians of which i used, I would say my favorite guardian is Legolas because of his strong basic damage, great maneuverability, greater range of attack, and because he is one of the coolest characters of the LOTR lore.
Hey, thanks for the input! The contest actually ended about a day after this was posted, but I’m glad you enjoyed the demo!
