PlayStation University’s new Toolbar

Today, we had the privilege of rolling out our very own Complex Media Network toolbar at the bottom of our front page and soon, our forum. This toolbar enables visitors to do a lot of cool things across the great network we’re apart of and we suggest you take advantage of it whenever you possibly can.

The Toolbar allows you to re-tweet any web page you visit on our website to your followers (which is great) and it also gives you the ability to update your Facebook status and Twitter no matter what page you’re viewing. This simple addition should help get more eyes on our content as well as bring more discussion within the community. So we encourage you guys to re-tweet from the toolbar whenever you’re reading something that interests you!

Furthermore, this cool little device enables you to check out news stories from across our entire network! This includes gaming updates from websites like Olivia Munn and PastaPadre. It also includes news stories from non-gaming websites like Yahoo.com and SneakerFreak.

This is one of my personal favorite additions to the website and hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

Please leave your thoughts about the toolbar below as I’d like to know what you think!

    It’s a bit distracting at first but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I’m not sure if I’ll use it to update my Twitter much since I already get all the news from following you guys there but having that option is nice.

  2. TBH, I’m hoping you guys will re-tweet some of our features, reviews, news, etc…to help push the website out to more people through the Twitter application since it’s like 2 clicks.

  3. I just updated my facebook page with the toolbar. I don’t know how often I will use this function but the option is great nonetheless =).

    Maybe it’s time to start using twitter again xD.

  4. The bar at the bottom goes through news very fast but it could help me see some news that I would not normally hear.

    I will definitely tweet or update my facebook with good articles.

  5. I think if it was more focused solely on PSUni and not on Yahoo!, Olivia Munn, PastaPadre, etc., it’d be better.

    @TRF

    I think that’s what the “Recent Posts” side bar is for :p

  7. Thank god it has a minimize feature!

  8. The toolbar isn’t exactly iPhone-friendly, which kind of sucks because that’s how I check the site when I’m at work. Take a look:
