What to expect from Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections on PS5?
The action-adventure game features the series’ largest roster yet, with over 130 playable characters. New fighters include Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki, along with Boruto characters like Kawaki and Jigen.
History Mode lets players relive key moments from Naruto’s journey, from his childhood to his final battle with Sasuke. It combines selected anime cutscenes with in-game battles, featuring updated graphics for fans revisiting the story.
The second Special Story Mode is designed exclusively for the game and focuses on Boruto Uzumaki. The story follows the Seventh Hokage’s son as he becomes involved in a conflict threatening the ninja world after encountering a girl through a popular online game.
The game’s combat has also received significant changes to speed up battles, including two ninjutsu slots per character. The developer added a new Simple control mode that lets players trigger complex combos and dashes using single button presses. Both beginners and series veterans can enjoy smooth 3D arena battles on PS5.
Post-launch DLC expanded the game’s roster with additional characters, while an August update added Nanashi Uchiha in a free patch.
