The PS Store has just dropped two free PS5 RPGs, one of which already boasts a stellar player rating. Both Mistfall Hunter (pictured) and Once Human are available to all players right now and don’t require a PS Plus subscription to play.
PS5 RPGs Once Human and Mistfall Hunter are currently in beta, with full free-to-play launches coming soon
Once Human and Mistfall Hunter are currently in beta on the PS Store. The former will get a full release on PS5 sometime in 2026, whereas the latter has a release date of July 29, 2026. Both games will be free-to-play.
Once Human needs no introduction, but for the uninitiated, the shooter/RPG is already available on PC and mobile, where it has positive player reviews. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the multiplayer open-world game has players teaming up with friends and fighting for survival while trying to “unravel the truth behind the apocalypse.”
As for Mistfall Hunter, the game is described as a PvPvE extraction action RPG.
“The gods have fallen, and the Gyldenmist is consuming the world. Revived by a mysterious girl named Dew, you are thrust into a bleak world to harvest Gyldenblood and mend the shattered Web of Fate,” an official description reads.
