Fresh out of the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix has released a new 7min trailer for Final Fantasy XIV Online.
With what is probably one of the most visually stunning MMO’s to date, Final Fantasy XIV Online seeks to captivate PC and PS3 gamers alike, providing vast living worlds to explore and five races to choose from. For those of you wondering when you might be able to get your hands on this delicious looking title, the PC version ships September 30th, while the PS3 version hits stores early March next year.
Check out the trailer below.
is it ingame? or cgi
The trailer is composed of CGI footage, however, the in-game visuals are pretty stunning.
THIS GAME LOOKS SO GOOD. CAN’T WAIT TO QUEST WITH MY FRIENDS. I AM GOING TO BE A HALFLING OR ELEZEN (ELF IN FFXIV.)
@Michael Frost
aha, thanks!
with how games look these days(U2, GOW3, GT5), you newer know…
Square has gotten better at making massive battles in CGI, but if they can actually put large-scale battles similar to that in the game, which would probably be the most sensible FF to put massive battles in considering it’s a powerhouse MMO, then that might actually justify FFXIV’s subscription.
