Two key PlayStation executives depart Sony

Sony has lost two key executives in the form of Scott Steinberg and Rob Dyer.

According to a source of IndustryGamers, Steinberg, VP of Marketing for PlayStation, was let go by the firm and escorted out the door by security. A Sony representative has since told the site that Steinberg instead resigned from his position – the reason unknown – and a replacement is yet to come in.

As for Dyer, Sony has confirmed the departure of the SVP of Publisher Relations, who is now thought to be working as Head of Partner Publishing at social gaming giant Zynga. Again, a replacement hasn’t emerged.
