An underrated 2025 PS5 action RPG has just announced a sequel, with the game’s original creator at the helm. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers was originally developed at Leenzee, with reports emerging in April 2026 that its development team was gone for good.

Publisher 505 Games has announced that it has entered into a partnership with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers’ original creator Xia Siyuan and his new studio Indolphinity to create “a brand‑new chapter of the Wuchang IP.” All development work will take place in China.

“We listen closely to the real voices of players and the community, and we remain firmly devoted to our original creative aspirations and cultural foundations, striving to answer everyone’s long‑standing expectations with more polished quality and a more complete experience,” Xia Siyuan said in a statement.

505 Games has pledged funding and will publish the Wuchang sequel globally.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers released to generally positive reviews, with its PS5 version the least favorably reviewed. The game holds its lowest score on Sony’s platform, earning a Metacritic average of 74/100.

On the PS Store, players rated Wuchang 3.77/5 Stars based on over 26,000 votes.
